Do you need to re-locate your hives? We can help! We provide both Honey Box & Hive transport services.
Hive TRANSPORT
We will provide a 4x4 flat deck Ute with a Crane that can lift 3 full depth boxes with base on and off the Ute.
Hives are normally moved at night or in the early morning starting in the dark to help prevent the bees overheating.
We provide a vented cargo cover, so the bees are contained if they escape from the hive in transit as well as providing fresh air to help keeping them cool. We also have red work lights that the bees can’t see facing the deck and sides of the Ute.
All hives are to be individually tied with either an Emlock Hive Strapper or a strop. Not a bungy cord and entrance ways blocked off.
HONEY BOX
Transport
We provide honey box transport services. This includes transport of honey boxes to a honey kitchen or another location.
A full depth honey box can weigh 40kgs so an extra hand can be useful.
With moving the honey boxes, it is our Ute that gets any spillage and not your boot.
Note these prices are for the Ute and 1 person. You or a second person may be required to help.
Minimum charge $75.00 per hour daytime rate (base to base) plus $1.20 per km outside of Hamilton.

HEALTH CHECK
Hives that are being moved require a health check 2 or 3 days prior to the move if you would like us to arrange this, there will be an extra cost.
